Thank you for visiting Leigh Taylor Tunes. Leigh got his start in music by winning first place on an L.A. TV talent show when he was only four years old, singing “Sixteen Tons.” He was quite the ham! Later, his musical journey led to a role in a Christian rock musical called “Lonesome Stone” that toured Europe and the U.S. Through the next several decades, he continued to develop his distinctive voice as a Christian singer/songwriter, working solo and with various bands, including Dunamis, Moon Cookies, and Tribal Elders, performing his own original material. For those familiar with Leigh’s music, no new direction is surprising. His musical influences are diverse as well, from jazz, classical, rock, and blues to west African, Caribbean, and Chinese styles. He calls it gumbo, and he hopes you like it!
